Oh Yeah.....

Which Dark Knight Character Are You?

You are Bruce Wayne. You are a very private, although you usually project an image of a carefree, happy and totally friendly person. You know how to play the game and keep people at an arms length, but sometimes you just wish you could scream out your secrets to the world. You are very generous and believe in helping those in need and give more than just money to causes. You have a quiet mournful side that you are only able to share with a few lucky souls, and you can be quite sensitive and moody as well. However, usually you are charming and powerful and have to constantly sweep away all those people falling helplessly at your feet!

I honestly half-expected to get this result. Half.
So Jay Chua, watch out, coz I'm comin to hang you upside down!

A Joke A Day....

What did the gangster's son tell his dad when he failed his examination?
" Dad, they questioned me for 3 hours, but I never told them anything !! "

What's the difference between people who pray in church and those who pray in casinos?
The ones in the casinos are really serious in praying hard.

When I was young I used to pray for a bike, then I realized that God doesn't work that way, so I stole a bike and prayed for forgiveness instead.

A little boy went up to his father and asked : " Dad, where did all of my intelligence come from ? "
His father replied : " Well, son, you must have gotten it from your mother, because I still have mine intact. "

John's teacher sent a note home to his mother, saying : "John seems to be a very bright boy, but spends too much of his time thinking about girls. "
The mother wrote back to the teacher the next day : " If you find a solution, please advise because I have the same problem with his father ! "

One Man's Useless Info, Another's Lifesaver

Here's a few solutions on how to deal with everyday problems that make you say "How the eff do I kautim this bloody problem??"

Don't you just love me for this? :)P

Ants Problem:

Keep the skin of cucumbers near the place or ant hole.

To get pure and clean ice:

Boil water first before freezing.

To make the mirror shine:

Clean with spirit

To remove chewing gum from clothes:

Keep the cloth in the freezer for an hour.

To whiten white clothes

Soak white clothes in hot water with a slice of lemon for 10 minutes 10.

To give a shine to hair:

Add one teaspoon of vinegar to hair, then wash hair.

To get maximum juice out of lemons:

Soak lemons in hot water for one hour, and then juice them.

To avoid smell of cabbage while cooking:

Keep a piece of bread on the cabbage in the vessel while cooking.

To rid the smell of fish from your hands:

Wash your hands with a little apple vinegar.

To avoid tears while cutting onions:

Chew gum.

To boil potatoes quickly:

Skin one potato from one side only before boiling.

To boil eggs quickly:

Add salt to the water and boil.

To check freshness of fish:

Put it in a bowl of cold water. If the fish floats, it's fresh.

To check freshness of eggs:

Put the egg in water. If it becomes horizontal, it's fresh. If it becomes slanting, its 3-4 days old. If it becomes vertical, its 10 days old. If it floats, it's stale.

To remove ink from clothes:

Put toothpaste on the ink spots generously and let it dry completely, then wash

To skin sweet potatoes quickly:

Soak in cold water immediately after boiling.

To get rid of mice or rats:

Sprinkle black pepper in places where you find mice or rats. They will run away.
( Wait, isn't it scurry away?)

Unfortunately, I don't have any advice on getting rid of cockroaches yet, Trisha. :)
Sorry~

I'll try and find more informative stuff if I can. You'll never know when you'll need it.

Trials....ugh.....

Yes, for all those NOT in my school, the dreaded SPM Trials began a week before the holidays, and continues on for another 2 weeks after it. Damn.....

So far, I've been doing an 'OK' amount of revision, nothing too dedicated. And as expected, it doesn't seem like enough for my mum. So what else is new?

It's strange. A little part of me is finally feeling pressurized to study. As a way of proving that little part of me exists, I made a lil' trip to Popular to get me a couple of revision books. Yipee.....I'll bet people are saying "Whoah!! Ir Vin (no one in school calls me Leon...) bought a revision book!! Big effing DEAL!!"

Sarcastic enough for ya? Tiu...I'm so behind in my studies...hanging on to the top 20 in class is already effing hard enough as it is. Mind, I'm only 15th in class.

Shit, I'm blank.

Seriously, I've got nothing else to say for the moment....ok, how bout I rant about the environment and the excellent government we are SO proud to have?
(By the way, I'm being effing painfully sarcastic if you didn't realize...)

Anyway, I think I'll end this utterly spontaneous rant here and now. I swear my future posts won't be so bad. After all, I have one astounding female blogger to look up to. Want her name? It rhymes with Misha.

Ebony Eyes

Behold, a tale of unrequited love, one so much like my own....

What I would not give...
Not... for a tender kiss
Not... to gently caress your cheek
But only this, to gaze...
Softly into your eyes and find myself
Hopelessly lost to forever wander
The beauty contained therein.
As a calm sea mirrors a sensuous moon...
So too, your eyes reflect the kindness in your soul
And the passion in your heart.
You are an oasis of beauty in a desert of despair...
Were you but my love...
I would drive away the clouds
Of unhappiness that overshadow you...
Take you in my arms...
And forever bask in your sunshine.

Avril Lavigne Forbidden in Malaysia??

Yes my friends, the PKR youth or PAS youth or whatever has finally had won the dispute.

And yes Jimmy Lim, that means she's not coming to town. (Don't cry, Jim.....)

I advise you to see what the guys left on Youtube for us Malaysians to see. Seriously....

As Trisha stated, Ana Kasparian how is Avril Lavigne TOO sexy?

And here's another funny segment. Malaysian concerts won't allow people to jump and shout??

I seriously advise you to watch the whole clip. I tell you, it's a slap on the Malaysian Governments' faces man....

Oh well, at least there's a moral to this story. As one of my class's beloved teachers once said:

"Di Malaysia, semua pun boleh.."
(Traslation) "In Malaysia, everything is possible.."

Belated birthday dedications

I had no opportunities to write a nice and complete birthday wish to 2 special girls I know (although i did give them a heartfelt couple of sms-es)......so here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRISH!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LING!

So there. Wish I could do a better birthday wish but there's no luck for me in that. =P

I'll try better next time. Sorry girls =)

Happy Day...

This Saturday I managed to go to the Animax Youth Festival, expecting to be greeted by scores of anime-related items. But instead, there was only a small crowd there with only a small amount of attractions.

Sounds disappointing? You wish!!

For those who've been living under a rock all this time, this is a PS3.

One of the best attractions is the FREE PS3 trials, which meant you get to play a real PS3. Sure, you guys might think "what's the fun of playing for a meager 15-minute trial?"

Well guess what? I managed to play the only game no one else wanted to play for 3 straight hours! Mind you, that game is voted Game of The Year for 2008.

And for those who aren't into the gaming world, this is the game Jay Chua is dying to play, and I played it before he did. Eat your heart out, Jay =P

Here's a joke I think all of you might understand.

Me: (halfway playing when I stumbled across a helicopter enemy while i was using a harmless tranquilizer gun[a sleeping-dart gun])

Some guy watching me: "Shoot the helicopter with the tranquilizer gun!"

Watching crowd laughs.

So there. A good day overall. Can't wait till I get a PS3 of my own. That means I need to study real hard.

Cheers. =)

The rules and regulations:
1. Each player of this game starts off with 15 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself.
2. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 15 weird things/habits/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly.
3. At the end, you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names.
4. No tags back!!

Money issues and then some....

Currently I'm quite strapped for cash.....yes, as I've been spending quite a lot on expenses, like the class sweater, class fund, class profile, class this, class that and yada yada yada....

Point is, I'm gonna leave a little advice to those that are spending away their allowance on trivial things such as uber-fancy clothes and *gasp!* Prada bags!( that means you, Ling! ^_^)

Anyway, save up! I know, this post's kinda lame, but I only have half-an-hour in my school's Cyber Cafe' (Yes, we have a cyber cafe' that ironically doesn't allow games or friendster, go figure...) and after that I have to rush to tuition, so yeah, that's all for now.

Cheers.
